Kayaking and Canoeing in Danube Delta

A real adventure on the Danube Delta's waterways and lakes, with fast and maneuverable canoes and kayaks.

The canoe is probably the most practical recreational craft, ideal for running through the Delta’s channels, streams, and stretches of water. With its help, you can reach where rare species of plants and birds still meet, which you can look at and take a close photograph.

The users of kayaks and canoes can cross all the waters of the Delta, not restricted by the authorities or by the flow and depth of the channels.

Besides the scenery encountered, the canoe-kayak tour remains an exciting sport, an exercise of endurance and navigation, and it is very good for those who want to improve their muscle tone and physical condition.

Groups of at least 10 payers can request canoes and kayaks excursion in the Danube Delta, at any time they prefer.

Compulsory equipment: Loose sports footwear (2 pairs), long trousers, shorts, wind jacket, 3 T-shirts, hat, towel, basic body hygiene kit, sunscreen, mosquitoes repellent, flashlight, polyethylene bags.

The campsites will be set by the guides according to the conditions encountered in the Delta during that period.

The guide team will prepare dinner consisting of pot dishes (fried fish or fish soup), depending on the time availability.

Participants will have the task to help catching a sufficient amount of fish. For the other meals, we recommend protein-rich products with high-energy input, to support your effort during the journey.

Each participant must hold 5-6 liters of water. Participants will stay on the course for about 4 hours effectively every day, interrupted only by rest breaks.

The experience is organized twice a month, from May to September. We do not offer pick-up/ drop-off from other locations, so the customers will reach the location by their own means.
