Activity suitable for all people with a minimum fitness condition. We will climb for about an hour on the paths that lead to "Pleașa Meadow" and the statue of Prometheus.

We do not hurry, we enjoy the landscape, we take photo breaks and we tell you the local stories.

Reaching the base of the meadows we can admire the Poienari Fortress from above and not only. The Vidraru Dam is the perfect background for the future profile photo.

Picnic time: traditional products specific to the area and "țuică", a traditional brandy from Argeș.

This activity takes place on the third Saturday of the month throughout the year.

Minimum number of participants: 5 persons;
Maximum number of participants: 20 persons.

A unique dinner that brings you closer to Japan’s traditions. 

The experience offers 12 courses, consisting of 3 starters, soup, 12 pieces of sushi prepared using traditional methods, finishing with a dessert to match. 

This experience can be complemented by a sake paring for each dish served. 
Dinner is served at the sushi bar, so you can watch our chefs at work. 

The menu is influenced by the time of year.  The detailed menu is presented after purchasing the package.

Sushi - Tokyo Experience in Cluj

Step into the world of soft flavors at Bădăcin Distillery. Let yourself be guided by the process of obtaining the magic liqueur by the distillator of Bădăcin Distillery. The story begins with the care of fruit trees, special attention is paid to each stage of distillate production, from manual picking or selection of fruits, exclusively, healthy, to the preparation of dregs, and its distillation, monitoring the technological flow and artisanal packaging of products.

Respecting the methods of ancient local customs, but also using state-of-the-art European technologies, " Bădăcin Brandy" produces a relatively small number of distillates from fruits produced, harvested and selected from Mr. Valentin Vălcăuan’s BIO orchards, organic plantations on the hills of the surroundings of Bădăcin. Having the vision of perpetuating the traditions of the area and relying exclusively on the pursuit of quality.

Valentin Vălcăuan obtained an original Romanian product, with noble features, in the descent of local traditions, a premium brandy, competitive anywhere, outside the country, with which the Transylvanian ancestors would have boasted, without a doubt. We pay special attention to each stage of distillate production, from the manual picking or selection of fruits, exclusively, healthy, to the preparation of the dregs, the supervision of the technological flow and to the artisanal packaging of the products.

Depending on the season and the meteorological conditions, the orchard / vineyard can be visited.

The experience includes:
- orchard tour;
- presentation of the process and technological flow, from fruit picking to the distillation process;
- questions and answers;
- tasting of assortments of brandy (7-10), together with specific fresh pies from Bădăcin, plus a plate with local goodies (bacon, cheese, onions and vegetables from own production BIO - seasonal).

The tasting ends with the possibility of purchasing your favorite brandies at special prices.

In order to book this experience, it is required a minimum of 5 persons and a maximum of 30.

Brandy Tasting in Zalău

We believe that the best way to discover a city is to know its inhabitants, traditions and gastronomy.

Healthy Sweets Cooking Workshop in Cluj

Discover the secrets of the Szeklerland through a culinary journey in the charming cities of Miercurea Ciuc, Odorheiu Secuiesc, Sfantu Gheorghe or Gheorgheni.

You can taste traditional dishes, beer, or homemade palinka, learn how to prepare various foods such as various types of cheese, traditional potato bread, or homemade chocolate.

In addition to the chosen tasting, the tour also includes the visit to local artisans such as village blacksmith, furrier, musical instrument maker, traditional producer of burned lime, coal or tiles, the miller, the furniture painter, or the potter. By visiting these small workshops, you will discover life stories and support the preservation of old crafts and tastes in front of standardization and fading of local culture.

This experience is recommended for couples, families with children, and groups of friends. The price includes a tasting or picnic with local products and visiting two workshops of your choice.

Gastronomic Tour and Craftsmen Workshops in Szeklerland 

When was the last time you ran away from the city and went somewhere out of the ordinary?

Two volcanoes can be found in the Csomad mountains. Thanks to these mountains we embraced a fair amount of natural treasures. These are the location we will visit on this tour.

Route (4 hours): Accomodation - Câmpia lungă (sheepfold visit where & cheese and curd tasting - included in the price) - Lake Sfânta Ana Panorama Viewpoint - Muchia Lacului - Băile Tușnad – Accomodation.

Children under 2 years old benefit of free access. One adult required for 2 children under 2 years old.

Minimum number of persons is 4, and the maximum number is 50.

Available vehicles:
- Suzuki Jimny - can be driven by the customers;
- Polaris Ranger;
- Mercedes Unimog.

Pick up from the accommodation only from Baile Tusnad. If the accommodation is in another locality, then the meeting point will be the car park located on Oltului street no. 81.

The choice of vehicle is made according to the number of people and availability. The price does not change depending on the car type.

Twin Volcanoes Tour at Băile Tușnad

A gate can mean the end of the road. But a gate can also be the beginning of a road. We are waiting for you at The Gate under Feleac, at the end of Cluj and the world, to take a few steps together on the road of traditions, Romanian senses and compassion.

Built out of passion and dreams, The Gate under Feleac aims to bring its visitors closer to traditions. Behind the Maramureş gate on the outskirts of Cluj, in a building that was originally a dry-cleaning workshop, you will find a museum...that is not a museum. At least not in the sense that we are used to giving to the noun museum, because here you will not find exhibits neatly placed behind glass screens, making it impossible to reach them, nor will you find "Do not touch the exhibits!" signs.

On the contrary, here you will have the opportunity to dress up some of the museum's exhibits (and here  we mean, of course, the costumes), you will learn to weave a broadloom, you will be able to cook (if you wish, of course) traditional dishes. The Gate under Feleac does not aim to present traditions to you as a museum exhibit, which you look at admiringly, possibly ask some information about, and then leave, telling yourself that you checked another experience. The approach it puts before you is a direct, live one, where you come into direct contact with tradition, with objects that were in our parents' and grandparents' households, that many people have never even had the opportunity to see before.

In the beginning it was the passion for popular culture, for traditions and customs, for what is authentic. Then followed many years of searching, through villages or flea markets, friends or strangers. As the collection began to grow, so did the idea. As time went by, it took shape and, together with the desire to show the collected wonders to others, led to the birth of this project called The Gate under Feleac. A project of a man, a project of a family. In fact, it is our project, because it is about us, about our ancestors, about the past and the traditions of this people.

Poarta de su' Feleac - Museum - Cluj

One-day adventure with Can-am Maverick buggy, traditional Romanian lunch included.

Departure is at 10:00 in the morning, arrival at 16:00.

Maximum capacity 4 people.

Minimum age of driver (18 years) - compulsory driving license category B. Minimum age of passengers 5 years.

The experience could be postponed or cancelled to the weather conditions.

Buggy Adventure in Buzăului Mountains

Departure from Brașov in the morning, at 08:00.

At 11:00 - visit the cheese processing workshop and the visitor center (visit and presentation of the household), tasting cheeses (min 2 types), yogurt, sausages, wine.

Continue with the visit of Praid Salt Mine. The underground visiting place is on "Level 50” which is 120m deep from the surface. The private transport of the people is with buses on a 1250 m long tunnel to the entrance gate of the visiting base.

Free time for lunch - the guide will recommend you a very good location (the lunch is NOT included in the price of the tour).

Continue then with a guided tour and presentation at the real craftsmen’s workshop - Tinder (amadou) processing (duration: cca. 30 minutes).

Arrive in Brasov at approximately 18:00.

Extasy Gift Cards

We invite you to a horse-drawn carriage ride in the village of Lazaresti and through the wild forests of the Volcano Land, near Lake Saint Ana. During the ~16km round trip we will make a time travel on the footsteps of wild boars and bears. A charming view of the Ciuc basin awaits us on the top of the mountain.

We will taste real mineral waters, we will see the tracks of animals, after which we will enjoy a traditional picnic in nature, with tastings of local products (brandy, bacon, cheese, etc.).

On the way back we will visit the traditional Nyír bath, admiring the post-volcanic activity, which is still manifested today in the form of carbonated mineral waters, mud and healing gases.

Optionally, we can go to a Wildlife Observatory (we go to the hide with an off-road vehicle or horse-drawn carriage, depending on the weather). Bears can be observed and photographed in their natural habitat through a large, one-way glass. The hide is perfectly safe.

Meeting:
The guide will pick you up from your
accommodation, at 10am. The departure is from Brașov.

Gourmet Tour with Horse-Drawn Carriage & Optional Visit a Wildlife Observatory from Brașov

Discover the hidden world of Ghimeș Valley on a horse-drawn carriage to absorb the local atmosphere.

During this ride, you will meet a local family who has still kept its traditional folkways and knowledge of living in harmony with nature.

A part of the family is moving during summer to "kaliba" in the mountains with the cows, where they prepare their own cheese, create popular musical instruments, show with great pride and joy the Czech dances and songs, and, when requested, they cook traditional recipes with the ingredients harvested directly from the garden.

During this ride, you can enjoy the picturesque landscape, valleys and meadows covered with wild flowers (especially in June) and dense forests around the village.

Depending on your interest and weather conditions, we may include a visit to the Iavardi Waterfall or to a local craftsmen workshop.

In winter when there is enough snow, the ride is made with sleigh.

The ride fare includes a picnic of local products.
