SUP boarding is another water sport that you can practice on Lake Firiza. Beginner or advanced, you can come with your own SUP and we will inflate it for free at Simared or you can use one of our models, a waistcoat and you are ready to paddle

You burn over 500 calories in one hour of rowing, almost twice as much as you burn in one hour of walking.
SUP-boarding is a sport with a low impact on the body, it does not force the tendons, muscles and wrists, it tones your entire muscles and improves your posture.
If you are a novice, the Simared staff will guide you with advice and assist you in getting on the water.

SUP Ride on Lake Firiza Baia Mare

We offer you an experience that combines sport, friendship and fun, an adventure you will not forget! The package is aimed at both beginners and those who have already practiced the sport. The aim is to spend an active day with good mood in the middle of nature.

The first part of the event will consist of a presentation of techniques for climbing, descending, paddling, etc. Participants will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the equipment.

We will venture out on trails where we will explore the hard-to-reach shores from land.
We will take hydration breaks, float board sunbathing, sunbathing, swimming, laughing, relaxing and there will be no shortage of photo sessions! 

Included in the basic package is the following:
- full Stand Up Paddle equipment rental;
- safety systems rental;
 -training;
- trails on the lake;
- photo & video sessions;
- after movie;
- 50 lei gift voucher for the purchase of a Decathlon SUP;
- SUPer Sunset: 150 lei (4 hours at sunset on a Monday-Friday).
- SUPer Wild Experience: 200 lei (one-day event from 10am to 6pm, Saturday or Sunday).
- members with their own board have free access to this event.

What is not included in the basic package and is optional:
- transport from Cluj-Napoca to Lake Tarnița and back;
- meals. There is the possibility to order food directly on the lakeside, to cook BBQ, or to cook in the cauldron. Prices can be offered on request depending on the period, number of people and the dishes desired.

Water Sports in Cluj 

Stan's Valley is a canyon located in the Fruntii Mountains, the length of the route is about 12km and it involves cliff climbing, climbing through the forest and recovering by boat from Calugarita point.
                           
Stan's Valley is one of the most beautiful routes in the country, it crosses the Fruntii Mountains and flows into the Arges River.

Along this canyon we will encounter waterfalls, we will use the railway to cross certain areas and we will make an ascent through the beech forest that leads to the forest road.

The route will end at the shore of the Vidraru Dam called "Calugarita". From here, we will board the ship "Mirena" for a tour of the lake and we will accost on the pier that leads to the main road.

We provide transport for up to 10 persons. 
Minimum number of participants: 3 persons.

Stan Valley & Vidraru Dam

Rafting is an outdoor recreational activity that uses an inflatable raft to cross the waters of a river. 

This is done in waters of different degrees of difficulty and it generally represents a new and challenging environment for the participants. 

Dealing with risks and the need for teamwork is often part of the experience. 

This is considered an extreme sport, suitable for teambuilding activities, but also for groups of friends who want to spend a full day of adrenaline in nature.

The equipment used consists of: the complete neoprene suit, neoprene slippers, life jacket, protective helmet, rafting boat and paddles. 

Duration between 2 hours - 2 hours and a half.

Rafting on the Arieș River

Paltinu is a very beautiful lake, located in Prahova County. It is located an hour and a half away from Bucharest or Brasov, on the Doftana Valley.

Once we arrive at the meeting place, we will become acquainted with each other and receive the equipment. Whether you are a beginner or advanced, we offer training on what to do when you are in a kayak.

After we familiarize with the kayaks, we will travel about 3 hours (10-12km), in a fairytale setting, surrounded by mountains and forests.

During the summer months, Paltinu Lake has an emerald-green color, and in autumn the forests dress their rust-colored leaves.

Our activities take place in nature. Due to the weather and in certain circumstances, the start/ end time may change.

Also, the proposed route can be modified depending on the weather conditions or depending on the degree of preparation of the participants.

In case of storm or completely unfavorable weather, the ride is postponed.

Availability from March - November on weekends.
Capacity: 15 seats, including 4 seats in 2 double kayaks.


Kayak on Paltinu, the Emerald Lake

Come with us to relax after a tiring day at the office in kayaks at sunset!

We invite you to a relaxation outing after work. We go kayaking/ SUP together on Lake Herăstrău, where we will cover approximately 6 - 8km in 1 hour and 30 minutes - 2 hours.

We will meet at 19:00. Depending on the weather conditions, the rides are organised on Tuesdays and Thursdays from May to October. The minimum number of participants for this experience to take place is 10 and the maximum number of participants is 20.

Details of the organisation (meeting place) will be sent by message after registration of each participant.

We propose such activities in order to discover wonderful areas in and around Bucharest, to relax after work and to get out of the daily routine.

This kayaking/ SUP tour is open to people with a minimum age of 6 years (accompanied by a parent).

The experience includes:
- specialist water sports guide;
- 1-person and 2-person 'sit in' touring kayaks equipped with rudder and luggage storage;
- state-of-the-art stand up paddle boards;
- paddles;
- spraydeck (flexible waterproof cover to prevent water from entering the kayak);

Every day, depending on the forecast, we go where it's best, with 4 locations available on the coast of Spain, specifically the Costa Brava: Leucate (lagoon), Sant Pere Pescador (open sea), Sant Carles de la Rapita (lagoon), Castelldelfes (open sea). The trips take less than 2 hours, to the south or north of Barcelona.

We come to support everyone to break mental barriers and be able to have progress in this sport, on one on one sessions, in order to learn and acquire the desired tricks.

The experience includes:
- airport pick up and return;
- transportation throughout the day;
- state-of-the-art equipment;
- full kiteboarding service and support.

A minimum of 2, maximum of 6 participants is required for this experience.

Kiteboarding in Costa Brava

The underwater world is a mystery to the most of us, but this experience offers you the chance to discover its true beauty. 

Venture out into the Black Sea by choosing Discover Scuba Diving experience which is a quick introduction to the underwater world, without the need of a previous experience or a diving license. 

Following the training provided by our experienced staff, you will learn the basic skills and a range of safety features, knowledge on how to use the diver equipment, how to breathe underwater and other key elements essentials for a proper diving experience. 

Throughout the dive, you will be assisted by qualified personnel, ready to meet your needs at any time, so you can fully experience the water up to a depth of 6m.

During 2 hours, the maximum number of participants is 8.

Scuba Diving Experience in Constanța

Rafting in Romania on the Buzau River, in special boats with a capacity of 4-8 persons, on the 2,5 – 3 hour route, only 155 km away from Bucharest and 90 km from Brasov. 

The rafting route starts upstream from Nehoiu and is about 10 km long. The actual duration of the descent varies between an hour and a half and two and a half hours, depending on the flow of the river. The river sections have fast areas that create strong sensations, but also areas with natural pools, where the team can get off the boats and cool off. The degree of difficulty of the route is of medium level, the risks are practically non-existent, so the river rafting on Buzău is addressed to all those who wish.

The route is available almost all year round and during dry periods, thanks to the Siriu Dam which regulates the river flow.

It is a different way to spend time in nature, offering time to exercise, increase your adrenaline level, and create unforgettable memories. 

The crew of a craft consists of 4-8 participants + 1 guide.

Our team of instructors has vast experience in sports and leisure rafting, with hundreds of descents. It was invited in 2007 to represent Romania at the World Rafting Championship in South Korea.

Groups made up of a minimum of 6 persons can choose the day on which to come to the rafting.

Minors may attend, only accompanied by one of their parents.

For groups of less than 6 people, rafting shifts are organized on Saturday and Sunday, scheduled in the morning, depending on the Siriu dam schedule and discharge.

Rafting on Buzău

The river Jiu offers very good conditions for big boat rafting almost all year round. It is known as one of the most exhilarating rivers in the country and is a favourite among many of our clients. If you want the adrenaline rush we recommend the Jiu!

Maximum capacity: 30 people.

This experience requires a minimum of 8 participants.

We have prepared a complete experience for you, where you will check off all the key points of the Delta. Enter the unique biosphere of the Danube Delta, admire the sunrise from a wild beach and discover the Letea Forest. We have made sure that the trip blends traditions, culture, history, flora and fauna specific to the place. We look forward to having you join us!

Schedule per days:

Day 1: 4-hour boat ride on the Danube (transfer to Sulina), where we can see on the banks the typical fishermen's houses, the life of the Delta and the charm of the region.

Day 2: Sunrise on the wild beach of Sulina followed by a guided historical tour of the town, visit of the cosmopolitan cemetery, the exhibition Sulina Veche and the old town.

In the afternoon, the experience you can only live in Sulina: trip to the Danube River mouth flowing into the Black Sea, Turgut wreck and Bird Island, spectacular sunset in Musura Bay.

Day 3: Experience in the Danube Delta - discover the natural reserve Letea Forest, 6-7-hour trip, boat and wagon/ jeep ride (optional: lunch at the locals 60 lei/person).

Day 4: trip to the lakes (Roșu - Roșuleț) - discover the flora and fauna of the Delta. Nature is generous and offers unforgettable experiences. If you want to explore more of the Danube Delta, this experience is optional.

Summer in Sulina - 2 in 1 Danube Delta and Black Sea Holiday

Light the Night is a concept that brings color, light and good cheer during the night. We will have a unique experience admiring the starry vault from the illuminated kayaks.

We then continue to the shore with a campfire and mountain songs accompanied by guitar.
Siriu Lake is an accumulation lake formed on the Buzau river, with a length of 11.5km.

On Saturday we meet on the edge of the lake and prepare for a light tour (10km), but not before we do the training and familiarize with the kayak.

When we return, we set up our tents and prepare our kayaks for what follows, "Light the Night". After the kayak tour in the middle of the night, we return to the campfire and the guitar.

On Sunday, after breakfast and a healthy coffee, we leave with kayaks.

Included in the price: kayak and equipment - vest, paddle, photos, night lights.

Not included in the price: transportation, accommodation (tent, 30 RON/ person).
                                     
Participants who do not have camping equipment can rent a tent and mattress from us or can accommodate at the cabin or cottages by the lake (not included in the price).
