Paragliding in Liteni or Iara Cluj

Be above it all on an unforgettable paragliding flight. Not only will you feel the adrenaline rush, but you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Apuseni Mountains. The flight starts from Liteni or Iara, Cluj county, depending on the direction of the air currents. The paragliding flight time will be between 5 and 15 minutes, and during this time we will be filming with GOPRO cameras. Participants will be equipped according to all safety measures. The equipment consists of special harnesses for paragliding and protective helmets. You will be accompanied by a paraglider pilot from our team who will control the paraglider throughout the flight. All equipment is provided by us, participants only need mountain footwear (boots or mountain sneakers) and clothing with thermal protection (windstopper, fleece, jacket).

The Apuseni Mountains are home to thousands of caves of the most diverse shapes and sizes, adorned with spectacular formations, crisscrossed by underground rivers, horizontally or vertically developed, with dizzying gorges; a mysterious and fascinating underworld. We love speleology and want to bring it closer to the curious and the daring, both through guided tours in speleological caves and through initiation in the technique of alpine speleology, which allows the safe exploration of vertically developed caves. We provide specialized guidance, detailed explanations of the area, the cave and how it was formed, helmet and headlight, necessary technical equipment, and participants should bring wet resistant clothing, rubber boots and gloves, curiosity and willingness to get dirty, climb, or crawl. We pursue the satisfaction of conquering the darkness and pushing our own limits. The choice of paths we take depends on the structure and effort capacity of the groups we guide, and the options are very wide. We feel "at home" in the Pădurea Craiului mountains, the Padiș karstic plateau, the Bihor mountains but also in other karstic areas. Location: Gârda de Sus - 'Avenul din Șesuri' cave (high difficulty, it requires technical caving equipment).

Via Ferrata in Pietrele Negre

The Via Ferrata route is a mountain route similar to mountaineering routes, laid out along their entire length with fixed metal structures (iron steps, steel wire ropes, pitons, suspension bridges, etc.), which allow any mountain adventurer with a minimum of physical fitness to reach the peaks safely. Our favourite routes in the Apuseni Mountains fall into the B (medium) difficulty categories and we offer both specialised guidance, history and description of the area and viewpoints, as well as the obligatory technical equipment (helmet, harness and via ferrata lanyard). The best time to go is from May to October, avoiding rainy days, when the rock becomes slippery, but for those who want to experience something new, we also organize tours in winter conditions. Minimum number of participants: 5 persons. The trail is located in the commune of Arieșeni, village of Vârtop, Bihor county, on the Pietrele Negre cliff. It has a total length of 200m, with a level difference of 100m. The estimated walking time is one hour and the retreat is 30 minutes. The trail offers a beautiful view over the Piatra Grăitoare Peak and Bihorul Peak, the highest peak in the Apuseni Mountains, and ends at a belvedere point where you can admire the entire ridge.
