Maramureș and Bucovina are two of the most unaltered regions in Europe, in terms of culture and traditions. I will be there for you to help you understand them, to enhance your cultural experience. We'll join the locals in their daily activities and I will share with you all the hidden and unique gems.

Maramureș in a living museum and it offers a real journey back in time. All traditions and ancient crafts are unaltered. It's a real joy to blend with the locals and watch their daily activities.

Bucovina, on the other hand, in an idyllic place with awesome landscapes, villages and very famous for the painted churches (Unesco heritage) and egg painting craft.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Drive to Maramureș region with stops for lunch
Day 2: Visit The Merry Cemetery from Săpânța, the workshop of the cemetery's creator, Bârsana Monastery.
Day 3: Walk through the villages of Maramureș. Visit wooden churches, craftmen, traditional activities from Mara-Cosău Valley, blend with the locals
Day 4: Enjoy the ride with Mocănița steam train from Vaser Valley. (or visit more beautiful sites from Iza Valley)
Day 5: Drive to Bucovina. Stop in Ciocănești village, declared a museum for its painted houses. Visit Moldovița painted church (Unesco)
Day 6: Visit Sucevița and Voroneț painted Churches. Voroneț is known as The Sistine Chapel of the East, unique for its famous blue, called the blue of Voroneț. Later, learn a beautiful craft with a local, egg painting.
Day 7: Before leaving Bucovina, visit the impressive egg museum from Vama, of a local artist. Return to the departure point. Departure points: Arad, Timișoara, Cluj-Napoca or Bucharest.
