Hiking to Remote Mountain Villages

How about a trip back in time? You may find this hard to believe but at only 2 hours from the civilization we will find hamlets that are completely isolated, without electric power, no roads, the only points of access are 4 wooden ladders, vertically attached on the rock. Oh well, they really exist, and they are not a tourist trap.

We will have a beautiful hike in Domogled-Cerna Valley National Park. When you think that you are on top of the mountain and maybe no souls there, you'll find a village, where people live scattered on the mountain. Being here many times, I made friends with a local family, that will be happy to welcome us in their fairytale house.

While we'll enjoy a freshly cooked lunch, with the most bio and organic products from their farm, you'll listen to their amazing stories, how they live happily up there, how they survive without the internet. :-)
- pick up from your hotel;
- drive for 2.5-3 hours to Domogled Cerna Valley National Park;
- hike in Cerna Mountains for 2.5 hours up to Inelet hamlet, enjoying the views of the valley;
- lunch at a local family;
- hike back to the car on a different trail (2 hours);
- drive back - 2.5 hours.

This hike is moderate, but it can be done in a slow pace, having nice rest stops with great views and photos. Departure points in Arad or Timisoara.
