One-Day Trip to Corvin Castle and Alba Carolina Fortress from Cluj

The tour will start after your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cluj-Napoca, and the first destination will be Corvin Castle, the most magnificent Gothic Castle in Romania. Many people call it "one of Romania's Seven Wonders".

The Corvin Castle is divided into 3 large areas: The Knight Hall, which was used for the holidays, the Diet Hall, which was used for ceremonies, and the circular staircase. All the rooms are rectangular with beautifully marble-decorated walls.

From Corvin Castle, you will head toward the Alba Carolina Fortress, the largest of its kind in Romania. Built between 1715 and 1738 in Alba Iulia, previously housed two other fortifications, Legio XIII Gemina's Roman Castle and Medieval Balgrad Fortress.

Today, Alba Carolina Fortress has become one of the main attractions of Alba Iulia, offering a unique historical and medieval ambience.

After your visit the fortress, you will return to Cluj-Napoca and the tour will be over.
