Mereşti Cave Tour

This tour begins with an extraordinary history lesson in the Nyergestető café, presenting the memorial site of the Szekler heroes who died in the battle of Piatra Niergeș. From here the road will take us through the southern course of Harghita Hill, stopping at the more important historical points, revealing their characteristics, we head towards Filia, stopping at Sântimbru-Băi, Câmpia Neagră, Cormoș brook and Băile Selters. about 1.5 kilometers on the mountain route that leads to the mouth of the Meresti Cave After the adventures in the cave, we return to the cars and head home, starting from Vârghiș to the Ciuc Basin through the valley of the Cormoș brook. and back in 8-10 hours.
The route: Nyergestető Café - Sântimbru-Băi - Câmpia Neagră - Cormoș brook - Băile Selters - Lupului road - Mereşti Cave - Filia - Cormoș brook - Piatra Niergeș.

Children under 2 years old benefit of free access. One adult required for 2 children under 2 years old.
