We offer you a super adventure in the mountains, a real challenge, totally different from what you have experienced so far: a canyoning trip in Orații Gorges.
This canyoning route will give you a unique mountain experience, through a beautiful dry canyon route. So if you do not like water, Orații Canyon is the perfect choice for you!
Experience is not required.
In canyoning you can rely 100% on our patented IcoPro (International Canyoning Organization For Professionals) guides, even if you are a beginner. Not to add that, after this trip, you will learn the rappel technique!
Meeting place and time: if you choose to travel with our van, then we will meet at the Horoscop Hotel parking, Unirii Square at 06:00 (fee 120 lei/ person). If you are traveling by car, then we will meet at 10:00 in Dâmbovicioara area.
We will start this trip with training and learning the abseiling technique. After we make sure that all the participants have learned this technique, we will enter the canyon, climbing a historic road of the old medieval fortress Orații.
On this day we will cross the canyon, crossing the 11 waterfalls. The waterfalls have a height that varies from 2 meters to 30 meters. The course of the canyon is without water, so we will enjoy an adventure and fun.
Equipment is included.
What do you need to bring with you? Only clothing appropriate to the weather conditions on the day of the trip. You will also need a pair of boots with a tight sole and preferably wool socks (wool provides thermal protection even when wet). We will procure the rest of the equipment. We recommend that you have a 2-liter bottle of water with you and energy snacks (protein bars or chocolate).
The minimum recommended age for this trip is 7 years (accompanied by parents).
