Salt Mine and Alba Carolina Fortress from Cluj-Napoca

Alba Carolina Fortress is surrounded by 12km of stone walls to protect the city center that will not stop astonishing you. At its beginning, it was a Roman Fort, then a Fortress in the Middle Ages, and later a Vauban-Type Fortress with 7 bastions.

The trip continues on a small road that will lead to Rimetea, a small village full of white houses with wonderful green windows, time-loved and cherished by its inhabitants. You will have lunch in this beautiful place and you will keep this memory for the rest of your life.

Then, you will continue with a descent in the largest history museum of salt mine in the world, known as Turda Salt Mine. The constant temperature between 10 and 12 degrees is maintained naturally all year round and a humidity of about 80%.

As well as being a museum, Turda Salt Mine is also a fun park where you can play tennis, mini-golf, ride with a panoramic wheel or even take a boat ride on the underwater salt lake.

After the tour of the Turda Salt Mine, the trip will end and you will be transferred back to Cluj-Napoca.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
