Destiny Park – the largest edutainment center in Eastern Europe is located in Bucharest

The first edutainment park in Romania and the largest in Eastern Europe opened its doors in Baneasa in September 2022. Urania Cremene is the parenting expert who designed the experiences for children.
Destiny Park is aimed at children between 3 and 14 years old and represents a miniature universe in which the little ones can be adults for a few hours or a day, having the jobs of big people and being paid with magic-money for them. All under the concept of edutainment, i.e. learning through play.
Urania Cremene, the most beloved expert in parenting in Romania, designed every experience that children will have in the park, to combine fun with learning: "At Destiny Park, children have the opportunity to discover the world as they may never have before- o, with lots of fun and curiosity, guided by wonderful people, ready to answer them with warmth and empathy from the most guiding questions to the most serious dilemmas about the world. They have the opportunity to feed their need for knowledge through questions that are answered calmly and warmly, and they can feed their need for Autonomy, for Control, because they have space to explore, make decisions and do it on their own, without mom and dad."

How does Destiny Park work?

As they enter the park, it is explained to both children and parents that in this magical little town things happen exactly as in real life, only that here the children have various roles and responsibilities, not the adults. That's why we say Destiny Park is the place where the world is ruled by children.
Little visitors have at their disposal 43 role play experiences from multiple fields including medicine, food industry, media, industry, car, sports, IT and many others. Everything is designed so that the little ones learn, through play, what it means to be big, to have responsibilities and last but not least, to manage your income. Each experience is organized in a specific framework and is designed in such a way that the children understand what it means to "work" and receive a "salary", but also to have fun.
During the 3 and a half hours that a standard visit lasts, children can enter any experience they want, and in each experience they will work for 15-20 minutes with Destiny Park Experience Officers and animators.

For people with disabilities (regardless of the degree based on the certificate), tickets are half price compared to the standard price, only for adult/child individual tickets, standard and all day pass.
These tickets can be picked up at reception.

Experience Rules

What children and adults need to know when they come to Destiny Park

 Children receive a check at the entrance with which they go to the Destiny Park Agency powered by Banca Transilvania. Basically, the first way kids go, once they enter Magic Destiny City, is to the Bank. This is how they begin to learn the economy of the park and pay attention to the activities around them, as in real life.

 At the Bank, based on the Check, children receive 50 or 100 Magic Money, depending on the ticket purchased. There are activities where children pay with Magic Money and activities where they are paid with Magic Money. What do children learn in this step? That to have fun you have to pay with Magic Money, and when you work you are rewarded with a salary, also in Magic Money.

 Once inside the park, children do not need real money to enter the experience spaces, only Magic Money! Magic Money is a convention, the currency of the park and comes in 1, 5, 10 and 20 notes, with the central characters being the 4 Destiny Park mascots – Tommy, Roxette, Alex and Sofia.

 Parents do not participate in activities with children. The concept of edutainment and the concept of the park in general are based on the idea that any child can independently do the learning and play activities in Destiny Park. We encourage learning through play and experimentation and the development of children in a harmonious, independent way.

 An activity lasts between 15 and 20 minutes. Children can repeat any of the experiences provided they exit when the activity time is up and repeat the entire process: waiting (if applicable), wristband scanned, paid with Magic Money (also if applicable), equipped, etc.

 Children can choose any activity they want during the time spent in the park (3.5 hours for the standard ticket or all day for the all day pass). By observing their passions and concerns over time, the choices in the park can give direction to children's professional inclinations, and why not, we can help them, together, discover their destiny.

Important:
Children under 3 have free entry and have access to the Lupilu area, specially built for them. With this facility, we address families with both younger and older children. To help these families, we built the space dedicated to children under 4 years old, so that while the older children enter the activities, the parents have somewhere to leave the children under 3 years old.

Children over 7 years old can be left alone in Destiny Park, only with parental consent.
