WildWater Rafting in Carpathians, Day-trip from Brașov

The rafting area is operated after Siriu Dam, where water is produced at one or two turbines daily. The location is suitable for beginners who want to experience the rafting sensation and prepare for rivers with a higher difficulty level.

Buzau river offers obstacles of level 2-3, fast sections by narrowing the bed, followed by large recovery areas. Some sections are easier, some other are rapids with more technical part.

The exact meeting time for the rafting will be set just the evening before. At 18:00 we will find out the operating hours of the electric power plant after the dam release. That is giving us enough water for a great day rafting.

There is a very small chance to cancel the event due to a small level of water. There will be like a private changing area, so you can put on the wet suit at start and dry clothes at the end. Please prepare a set of dry clothes and towel to have handy if needed.

Duration: 2-3 hours in the water including safety instructions and the rafting.

Meeting:
We can pick up travelers from Brașov or meet them at a starting point. The exact pickup time will be set only the evening before the event at around 18:30pm.
