Hiking in Varghisului Gorge

The perfect hike for all mountain shoes, for little and big explorers, for nature lovers.

Located in the Persani Mountains, the trail through the gorges dug by the Varghis river will take you from one side of the river to the other one.

You will cross the culverts, you will be able to discover spectacular caves and relax in the open clearing. It is the perfect choice if you want to enjoy one day in nature.

The starting point of the hike will be in the locality of Vârghiș, from the Tourist Information Centre. The route is a circuit and lasts 4-5 hours. This activity is for groups of minimum 5, maximum 10 people. Optional transport from Bucharest can be provided by the organizers. Easy difficulty.

If external factors do not allow a shift to take place, it may be rescheduled in agreement with the organizer.
