Defensive Driving Course - Intermediate by Titi Aur

The Intermediate Defensive Driving Course will improve your relationship with the vehicle in extreme conditions (for example, when emergency braking is required or bringing the car back under control in the event of a surprise skid), and at the end you will gain a superior knowledge of the vehicle's passive safety systems.

09:00 - 11:00 THEORETICAL COMPONENT:
Introduction
Open discussion - practical application of the knowledge acquired in the previous level of the course
Review of previous course
Skid control and recovery techniques
Obstacle avoidance techniques and active safety systems

THE THEORETICAL PART of the defensive driving training covers topics that improve vehicle control techniques in borderline situations, including obstacle avoidance techniques and effective use of the vehicle's active safety systems.

11:00 - 16:00 PRACTICAL COMPONENT:
THE PRACTICAL PART is aimed at learning and practicing how the vehicle can be better controlled in emergency situations (sudden obstacle avoidance, improving the ability to safely maneuver in congested traffic) and improving vehicle control in low grip conditions (comparable to ice).

Practical workshops:
Freewheel skid simulator
Obstacle avoidance with traffic lights/ radar at different speeds with and without braking and stopping at a fixed point
Skill exercise - slalom, parking, side parking, tight circle and fixed point stop
Awareness of braking distances at different speeds
16.00-16.30 Final discussion, Awards and diplomas

Our team's experience in the field of motorsport, combined with the support of training to more than 40,000 drivers and at least 300 companies across the country, have led to the continuous optimisation of the defensive driving course. The result is training in defensive driving techniques and tactics, which is conducted in two stages over one day (09:00 - 17:00) in groups of at least 20 participants.
