"Beauty and the Beast" is an intelligent and tasty comedy about four women who find themselves in an unusual situation: all four are loved by the same man, without knowing each other. Urgently summoned by telegram to Marco Anselmi's villa, the women expected a romantic farewell, but what was supposed to be a dream date turns into a farce full of dramatic accents, a prologue and an epilogue.
Clelia, Stefania, Amanda and Marisa are four different women with different personalities and dreams, but they are all united by the same man, Marco. Instead of fighting and arguing with each other, the women decide to team up and punish the man who cheated on them in a funny and inventive way.
The comedy tackles themes such as relationships, marriage and the excess of love, and features hilarious one-liners, irresistible qui-pro-quos and clever comedic situations where humor is wrapped in irony.
