On June 18, 2023, one of the most popular rock bands of the new wave, Taylor, will hold a big concert in Bucharest, in True Club!
Codrut Croitoru, (ex-CompactB, ex-Schimbul 3 and currently a member of the Taylor and Mesterii Rock bands) invites you with his colleagues from the Taylor band to a super pop-rock concert. The Taylor band is considered by many specialists to be one of the most valuable pop-rock products of the new wave, a band that may be a new name for many but which is made up of musicians belonging to several generations, musicians with experience, who have sung over the years with names such as Compact, Pasarea Rock, Schimbul 3, Valeriu Sterian&Compania de Sunet, Accent, Sfera, Mihai Pocorschi & Formula 5, Vh2. So we are waiting for you on Sunday, June 18, at a great Taylor concert!
The Taylor band was born on the initiative of Codruț Croitoru, a Conservatory graduate (National University of Music, Bucharest) at the composition section, where he had the late Anton Șuteu as his guide and mentor.
Codruț Croitoru started his activity on the Romanian rock scene with his first band, The Crown, during the years when he was a student at the Art High School in his hometown, Pitesti, the band he continued with during his student years, and with which he released an album. He later ended up collaborating for a long time with Adrian Ordean, Codruț being the vocal soloist, in the period 2012-2019, in all the projects of the well-known musician (Ordean band, Pact, Schimbul 3 and Compact B). From 2020 until now, Codrut Croitoru is also a vocal soloist in the bands Pasarea Rock and Mesterii Rock (bands in which the former Phoenix members Josef Kappl and Ovidiu Lipan Tandarica are active). Also in 2020, Codruț decided to take the next step and start a new project, in which he will sing his own compositions. Thus Taylor was born. In 2022, the first record album was released, a conceptual album called "Beyond the masks", an album in which all the songs together tell a story, the story of the truth. Currently, the Taylor group is in the process of finalizing the second discographic material, and some of the songs from the new album can already be found in the concert playlist.
