Snowboarding is an extreme sport that is practiced during the winter, on snow.

The practitioner uses a snowboard with his feet attached to it, using specially designed bindings. He can move to a certain direction, by balacing his weight from the tips to the heels and vice versa.

As learning to snowboard on your own can endanger your safety or the safety of those around you, we recommend learning this sport from accredited instructors, who will teach you how to practice it correctly, in maximum safety, thus avoiding unpleasant injuries.

The instructor will present you the safety rules, the characteristics of the area where you practice this sport, meteorological information, mountain dynamics, avalanche probabilities, priority rules on the slope and signs, the skier's decalogue (rules of conduct on the slope), etc.
