Karting school - Cluj

Karting is the perfect sport for kids addicted to adrenaline and new activities, with a rebellious spirit and lovers of outdoor activities. With over 15 years of experience in motor sports, our club has trained over 100 pilots, some of whom managed to rank on the highest step of the podium, both in national, European and world competitions. Karting is a complex sport, which is based on both talent and insight, as well as a lot of work, at the same time developing capacities such as: Team work (there is a close collaboration between pilot - coach - mechanic - physical trainer - team manager) , the ability to make decisions under pressure, concentration, reflexes, etc...

This activity requires careful physical training, but once the pilots get a taste of adrenaline and competition, the desire to be as prepared as possible comes naturally.

Is karting a dangerous sport?

The answer to this question is very simple: NO! The karting equipment includes absolutely all the necessary protections so that in the context of an incident on the circuit, the pilot is totally protected.

In addition to the sporting side, the benefits of karting are indisputable. Young people acquire reflexes that are not created in any driving school, and in a limiting situation, a pilot's ability to right a car or avoid an impact is 5x faster than that of a regular driver. In addition, during the training, pilots become aware of why speed is only good on the circuit and what are the risks in the context of abusing horsepower on public roads.


Karting school program
The karting school takes place between 03 and 27 July.
The trainings will take place from Monday to Thursday (2 trainings/week - 6 trainings/course) in the following time intervals:

10.00 - 11.30

12.30 - 14.00

14.30 - 16.00

16.30 - 18.00

18.00 - 19.30

Registration for this module opens on Monday 19.06 and closes on Friday 30.06 (subject to available places)

The karting school contains 3 courses after which the young graduates will become pilots or stay with a unique experience that they will be able to repeat every year. A course consists of 6 trainings, each approximately 70-90 minutes/training. During training, we carried out both theoretical activities: getting to know the kart, learning the basics of sports driving, as well as practical activities: physical training, exercises to develop reflexes and decision-making speed, and driving a competition kart on the circuit.

Course 1 – Introduction to the world of karting
Duration- 2-3 weeks (2-3 training sessions per week)
Skills after completing the course:
-Knowledge of the main parts that make up the kart
-Knowledge of safety signs
- Respecting the basic indications signaled by the instructor while running on the circuit
- Correct use of the accelerator and brake pedals
- The correct positioning of the hands on the steering wheel
-Improving reflexes by over 15%
