Enjoy a winter activity with the whole family! Spend an active winter day away from the city.
Once the group is set up, we will begin with a short learning session where you will be introduced to the basic of snowshoeing. Then we will start walking through the forest and over hills, through deep snow and up some steep slopes. It will be a wonderful, unforgettable walk.
We will return to the starting point at the end of the walk. Alternatively, the group can decide with the guide to end the tour at a different location, from where we can arrange a return transfer by private vehicle or local bus service (for a fee).
The use of snowshoes gives you the flexibility to enjoy the cold winter season. You will need normal footwear as snowshoes have adjustable straps and they will fit over any boots. We also have small sizes for kids and ladies.
Tour duration is approximately 2.5h - 3h.
Starting point: Hotel Alpin, Poiana Brasov (at the Alpin Ski Academy office - ski equipment rental centre).
Included services:
- specialized guide accompanying you on the route;
- equipment (snowshoes).
Not included:
- car transport/pick-up from the hotel - available on request for a fee;
- meals or other drinks.
Required equipment:
- ski suit or windproof clothing, not very thick;
- hat, gloves;
- we recommend a thicker sweatshirt to spare;
- small backpack with a snack + water.
Minimum 2 persons, maximum 16 persons.
